30 Day Photo Challenge- Day 14

This was the best day of the challenge yet.  While we were sitting around in our pajamas this morning, we were talking about the things we wanted to accomplish yet this summer.  We realized we still hadn't gone to St. Croix Falls like we had talked about.  We checked the weather and when we found out it was going to be a sunny, dry, 80 degree day, we couldn't pass it up.  We packed up snacks and all the necessary kid stuff, and were out the door in less than an hour.  Who says people with kids can't be spontaneous?

We stopped first at Franconia Sculpture Park in Taylors Falls.  It's a great place to run around and look at crazy, huge sculptures, some of them interactive.  Next we headed just across the Wisconsin border to Fawn-Doe-Rosa, a park where you can feed and pet deer and a few other animals.  Our day trip coincided perfectly with today's challenge:
