This is only Part 1 of what I hope is going to be a fabulous project.
I have a little hunch about something. I think I might be the only person in my household who changes the toilet paper roll. Does anyone else feel that way? With two young children, I'm starting to get the hang of this "positive reinforcement" thing. So I wondered if it might work on another adult. What if there was a prize for replacing the roll?
Nothing fancy here. Just a trying out the panoramic feature in our stairwell, which happens to be covered with board games.
This was Boo's 4th birthday, so of course I had to throw together some kind of cake for him. I debated over getting any old box mix and then just keeping it away from Punky, but it's nice when she gets to eat the same things the rest of us are having.

We're trying to give up drinking soda, because of the sugar (if it's regular) and the artificial sweeteners (if it's diet). But I love the fizz, so I've been drinking a lot of bubbly water lately. Here's one of my attempts to make it a little more interesting.

I'm not sure this counts as creativity, especially since the outfit I put together is literally what I wore yesterday. Except for the flower thing that came with the template. But since it almost matches the nail polish, maybe I should look into getting something like that for my hair?

This week has been awful. The Mister had to travel to Peoria overnight, I missed a lot of sleep, I didn't get a parenting break, and it was almost impossible to get anything done above and beyond my daily "chores". I wish I could say I was taking a break from some of my usual tasks in order to have more time for creative pursuits, but it just can't be done. I mean, miss one day of scooping the litter box, or feeding the kids? I don't think so.

Last year, during the 30 Days of Creativity, I got a ton of things done. I used it as a good excuse to finally get going on those "someday" projects around the house. This time around, I'm keeping it small because there just isn't time. Here's what I have so far.
