Monday Morning Roundup 3.24.14

Happy Monday, Friends.
It's been a long time since I've done a Monday Morning Roundup.  I started thinking about the direction I wanted my blog to take and got worried that I didn't have much of a focus. Then I held myself back from updating it because I couldn't figure it out.  Anyway, I've thought about it and, while I still can't answer to what my purpose is, I'm just going to plow ahead.

I just found this little bit of zen: No One Reads a Comic Strip Because it's Drawn Well.  I think that applies here.  If you're reading this, it's not because you think, "wow, what a well-designed, meaningful blog."  You are probably here because you know me, or searching for something crafty on Google or Pinterest has brought you here.  And since I'm not doing this to make money, or market something, I'm just as pleased whether I have 10 readers or 110.

Want to hear something crazy? I looked at the Blogger analytics, and at last count I've had 14,466 page views.  Just a few weeks ago, I checked it and was floored that the number was nearing 14,000, and then there was this explosion, even though I hadn't posted anything new.  That makes me want to try all the harder, and get back into posting regularly, even if I'm sometimes just curating stuff I find around the web.

So here are some links, and I promise to come up with more original content in the near future.

Did you know there is such a thing as Arm Knitting?  I recently watched someone make a chunky cowl scarf in about an hour this way.

Three Kinds of Wall Storage for Tiny Toys

As the days get longer, and I look outside to see snow melting away before my eyes, I remember back to just a few weeks ago when the temperatures were sub-zero and we stayed indoors all day.  It was the perfect time to get some creative handiwork done around the house, so I tackled a much-needed storage solution for the kids' playroom.
