This week for my Monday Morning Round-up, I wanted to tell you about a few apps, websites, and blogs that I use frequently. Some of these are pretty old (at least to me), but they're the kinds of things I like so much I want to make sure everyone knows about them. And there are no pictures this week. You actually have to read through all this. Sorry!

Happy Monday friends! Did you have a fabulous weekend? Here in Minneapolis, we had the first sunny weekend in quite a while, and it was lovely.
Our family celebrated Boo turning six with a Minecraft-themed party. What can I say? Nothing I made for the party was Pinterest-worthy, but he loved it and had a great time.

Travelling with food allergies this summer? Look at this chart Comparing Airlines' Allergy Policies. And then, if you're like me, shake your head in wonder that ANY of them still hold on to the ridiculous peanut tradition.

It's the first day of summer vacation for us, which means after I painted my toenails and took a picture of the book I want to read, I went back to my usual routine of cleaning, prepping food, entertaining kids, etc.
Need some summer reading ideas? I like YA fiction because it's fast-paced and a book can usually be read in a day or two. Here's a good YA reading list with a lot of classics and best-sellers. I'm guessing most young people have read them already, but for a mom who's read about four fiction books in the last six years, it's a good place to start.

Greetings friends! Here is a friendly little broccoli plant growing on my patio.
More details on my makeshift vertical garden are forthcoming. Until then, here are some good links.
I discovered this salon in Minneapolis last week. They specialize in cutting and caring for curly hair. I've never experienced a haircut quite like this one, and I will definitely be back as a regular customer.
Are you listening to me yet about thrifting? Here's another reason thrift stores are awesome.
I'm OK with not putting this one on my bucket list: a selfie on top of the Christ the Redeemer statue.

Have a lovely week!
